International Young Bakers Competition

For his 46th edition le International Young Bakers Competition was hosted in Lyon on January 24 and 25, 2017.

EKIP, the Equipementiers du goût, was a partner of this international event organized by the UIBC (the International Union of Bakers and Pastry Chefs).

Nine countries were each represented by two candidates who had six hours to make and present a set of products: bread, sandwiches, sweet leavened dough products, Danish frivolities or even an artistic piece on the theme of love.

An all-female podium and two nations that stand out.

Nina Vogel, a young Swiss candidate, won the gold medal, while her compatriot Angela Marianne Bissegger tied for second with Sweden's Anna Sall for the silver medal. The bronze medal went to Sweden's Lina Andersson.

Le Special Prize for Creativity was won by Jérémy Girardeau, one of the two young French candidates.

 

French Bakery Cup 2017

Ekip, The Taste Equipment Manufacturers, partners of the French Bakery Cup, which took place from January 21 to 23, 2017, in the Espace Tendance Pain during Sirha. Our equipment manufacturers provide the teams with most innovative materials to allow them to express themselves in the best working conditions.

This edition was, for the first time in its history, sponsored by Eric Kayser and included a bakery restoration event.

For 3 days, 12 teams of 3 candidates (one per category: Bread, Viennese Pastry and Artistic Piece) representing their region competed to reach the podium.

Normandy climbed to the top of the podium, followed by the Île-de-France region in second place, and the Rhône-Alpes region in third place. Congratulations to all these teams who thrilled us.

Hubert Cloix: 240 liter pastocuiseur

The company is pleased to announce the launch of its  New Generation 240 litre Pastocuiseur : an ever more ergonomic machine, which tends to reduce the user's difficulty: lowered machine and installation of safety elements (including a jack hinge on the cover).

The programming has been revised and today there are between 10 and 15 programs offered depending on the range – including a cleaning program – as well as an end-of-cycle alarm.

Device offered in 4 ranges : » Pasta cooker « Recipe », Pasta cooker « Special cooked cream », Pasta cooker « Grande Cuisine » and Pasteurizer.

All devices retain their automatic maturation at the end of the cycle.
