EKIP : The most efficient equipment…

… made available to the young champions who – since Thursday morning, March 09, 2017 – have been competing to win the Gold Medal at the Skills Olympics .

The Bakery and Pastry trades received support fromEKIP for this national final. Equipment benefiting from the latest technological innovations is made available to candidates who can thus express all their know-how and creativity without having to worry about material constraints.

The names of the trade representatives who will make up the French national team will be revealed on Saturday evening. We wish everyone good luck and congratulate these passionate young players who are so adept at representing their region and demonstrating tremendous professional maturity.

March 16, 2016: Macaron Expertise Day

Relay Desserts creates the event this year with the " Know-How Day", a journey of taste experiences, Thursday, March 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. A new unique event organized for the official launch of the twelfth edition of Macaron Day at the Cordon Bleu Institute – Paris

The principle : a taste journey in 3 stages. A duo of Pastry Chefs will come together for the first time around their own macaron recipes to create surprises and interactions.

To allow you

  • to discover the creative secrets of the greatest Pastry Chefs, in a unique, intimate format.
  • to taste: Like a pop-up store, participants will be able to leave with 5 macarons from the houses represented.

For the first time, the greatest Relais Desserts pastry chefs will come together for thematic workshops. The Pastry Chefs present : Pierre Hermé, Jean-Paul Hévin, Claire Damon, Laurent Duchêne, Vincent Guerlais, Thierry Mulhaupt, Daniel Rebert, Jérémy Del Val, and Nicolas Boucher from the Dalloyau house.

The cause : Since 1965, Vaincre la Mucoviscidose has supported patients and their families in every aspect of their lives disrupted by cystic fibrosis.

Macaron Day will then be held on March 20, as it does every year, throughout France to raise public awareness of cystic fibrosis.

From March 9 to 11, 2017, the Bordeaux Lac Exhibition Center will host the national finals of the Skills Olympics.

The winners in each “Profession” category will represent France at the international finals which will take place from October 14-17, 2017 in Abu DhabiIn the fall, 76 nations will compete in around fifty professions and we will be fervent supporters of the French team which will undoubtedly bring us some very nice medals.
