Louis Agnellet: Worldskills Abu Dhabi Silver Medal

 Louis AGNELLET worthily represented French Pastry by winning the'money in ABU DHABI. In March 2017, in Bordeaux, he won gold in the national final representing Normandy.

At the Worldskills China International in June 2017 in Shanghai, he won gold.

Son of a pastry chef, Louis works at Alban Guilmet in Caen.

French Team: European Bakery Champion

The French Bakery Team has just distinguished itself during the final of the European Bakery Cup which saw 7 teams compete on October 22 and 23, 2017 during the Serbotel trade fair in Nantes.

The podium of this beautiful competition:

1st: Pellons d'Or: France

2nd: Silver Pellons: Italy

3rd: Bronze Pellons: Netherlands

During the Worldskills/Skills Olympics which took place in ABU DHABI from October 14 to 19, 2017
and for the return of the Bakery in this international competition:  Damien BESSON won theOR
This young baker had already distinguished himself by winning gold at the national final in Bordeaux in March 2017 (where he represented Reunion Island). With this achievement in his pocket, he then won gold at the Worldskills China International in June 2017 in Shanghai, to finish in style: Gold medal at the world final in ABU DHABI.

All trades combined, the French trades team finished in 7th place in the nations' ranking with 12 gold, silver or bronze medals and 15 medals of excellence for 39 competitors under 24 years old.
