On January 17, 2019, the International Hotel School of Lille (59) welcomed candidates for the regional selection tests:

Axel LEJEUNE – Lycée Notre Dame de la Providence in Orchies (59) has been selected for the national final in the “Juniors” category

et

Yu TANAKA – from the Bristol restaurant – Paris (75) has, for his part, won the sesame for the national final in the “Professionals” category.

Marie-Diana BOURDIL – CFA Médéric – Paris (75) has been selected for the national final in the “Juniors” category

Laurie PROST – from the NE/SO restaurant – Paris (75) has won the sesame for the national final in the “Professionals” category.

WEST Regional Final

January 10, 2019, in Ploufragan (22):

Vincent LEGRAND – from Albert BRAY high school – Tours 37 has been selected for the national final in the “Juniors” category

Jérôme GOURMELIN – from the AR MEN DU restaurant – Nevez (29) has, for his part, won the sesame for the national final in the “Professionals” category.

45th French Dessert Championship

Created in 1974 by the CEDUS, French Desser Championshipt is today an unmissable event for the profession, supported by the Ministry of National Education and by professional bodies in the catering and food industry.

For its 45th edition, the national final of the restaurant pastry competition will be chaired by Pierre Hermé, Best Pastry Chef in the World 2016.

It is the Lycée des Métiers Georges Frêche – Montpellier, which will have the heavy responsibility of hosting the finals.
