5 new Academicians

The French Academy of Chocolate and Confectionery held its Annual General Meeting on January 22, 2019.

Following the re-election of its president, Katherine Khodorowsky, five new Academicians were elected by their peers, in accordance with the statutes of this learned society, guardian of professional ethics in chocolate and confectionery.

International Competition for the Best Young Bakers

on January 29 and 30, 2019, the best hopes of the world bakery faced off in jousts where they competed in creativity and techniques in the "Tendency Pains space" at Sirha. They are under 23 years old and had only one desire: to win the sesame that will open the doors to Brazil for the next competition.

There again the adherents EKIP, have provided them with the most efficient tools.

The Winner is Yang XIONGSEN (China), the second Yufei ZHU (China) and the third Vincent RICHTER (Germany).

Le Chef Thierry marx had agreed to sponsor this wonderful competition.
