Opening of a Bakery and Pastry Salesperson Training Course

From September 2019, the Union of Bakers of Greater Paris opens a qualifying course in Paris: the CTM (technical trade certificate) bakery and pastry shop sales.

This training will be provided in partnership with theChristian Vabret School and is open to people aged 16 to 30.

27th Edition of the MOF competition

Since July 16, 2019, the registrations are open for the  27th edition du “One of the Best Workers in France” Competition.

Some figures: since 1924, 9204 professionals have obtained the title in more than 230 professions.

Who can participate: anyone aged at least 23 years old on the registration deadline.

qualifications will be done over a period of time from September 2020 to January 2021.

The official presentation of the titles will take place during a ceremony organized in February 2022.

INBP Rouen

Defibun 2019

On July 2, 2019, Bimbo QSR welcomed the 24 teams (104 students in total), representing 11 training institutes for the 16th edition of Défibun.

This year the jury was chaired by Frédéric LALOS, MOF Boulanger.

Each bun is rated on taste, texture in the mouth, originality, appearance and presentation.

The winning establishments receive grants in the form of apprenticeship taxes:

€3500 for the Golden Bun

€2500 for the Silver Bun

€1500 for the Bronze Bun.

In 2018, the CFA team from the INBP in Rouen (76) won the Bun d'Or with its SBO (buckwheat-beetroot-onion bun). All the competitors are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the results.

The FEB celebrated its 80th anniversary

It is on June 27, 2019, President Sébastien Touflet and Matthieu Labbé – General Delegate welcomed more than Guests 300 of all the vocational stream, under the Dome of Printemps Haussmann, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the federation.

Four former presidents were honored during this evening: Raoul Renaud, Alain Rabreau, André Barreteau and Pascal Cantenot, without forgetting Nicole Watelet – Former Secretary General, who all contributed to the dynamism and influence of the FEB.
