Alain GRISET: a craftsman in Bercy
Alain Griset was appointed Minister Delegate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – alongside Bruno LEMAIRE, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery – in the government formed by the new Prime Minister, Jean Castex. He will have the delicate mission of leading the rescue of small businesses, weakened by the health crisis.
The creation of a ministerial portfolio dedicated to SMEs is unprecedented (in the past, it was entrusted to secretariats of state). It marks the awareness of the economic potential of local businesses, factors of social and territorial cohesion. During the transfer of power on July 7, Bruno Le Maire spoke of " a very strong political signal" “The recovery will come from small businesses”, insisted the minister.
"I will first continue to listen to businesses and work with the organizations that represent them," Alain Griset said upon his appointment. The goal for small businesses is to "continue to serve the region, train young people, and contribute to the economy, alongside large companies, the very important role they already play."
Alain Griset will soon make proposals to Jean Castex and Emmanuel Macron "so that businesses can get through this difficult time."

Xavier CASALINI was appointed Secretary General, on the proposal made by Dominique ANRACT – President of the National Confederation of French Bakery and Pastry – to the members of the confederal office.
