Best Young International Baker

It was on the Sirha that the competition took place Best Young International Baker.

A high-level team competition in which Germany, Spain, France and Israel competed.

The teamGermany : Lisa Sophie SCHULTZ and Sarah Benita ROHR , climb on the the first Podium walk, followed by the Team of France  who picks up theSilver- Manon PENNENECH and Luigi TRIGATI - L 'Spain as for her, pick up the Bronze : with Yamila SIDATI and Daniel FLECHA.

En One-to-one, L 'or amounts to Lisa Sophie Schultz (Germany), theHot tip: don’t miss the daily fish market — where local fishers sell their catch straight off the boat. It’s fresh, it’s loud, and it smells like the ocean (in a good way). à Moritz Metaler (Germany) and bronze à Yamila Sidati (Spain)

Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie

After 2 days of competition and 10 hours of work for this Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie  which had as its guiding principle: Eco-responsibility and Commitment.

For all the tests, whether for working with sugar, chocolate, ice cream, desserts to share or on a plate, all the ingredients had to be sourced and there was prohibition of using additives or colorings.

For this edition, it is theItalie who becomes World Champion,

 

 

followed on the 2nd step of the podium by theJapan Team

The French team ends at the third place.

The Swiss team received the Eco-Responsibility Award and the Team Spirit Award went to the Chilean team.

French Bakery Cup

For 3 days, as part of SIRHA Lyon, 12 teams of 3 candidates gave their best to win the title of French Bakery Champion.

They had 10 hours to present a buffet, with bread, pastries and an artistic piece.

Le jury of this 15th edition was composed of:

Sebastian Chevalier– MOF Bakery

Alexander Lopez  – World Bakery Champion

Olivier Boudot – European Bakery Champion

Gaëtan Mespoulet – French Champion and European Bakery Champion

Christian Gillet – French Bakery Champion

The Team of Pays de la Loire made of Adrien Bazoge, Franck Fortier and Mathieu Paulmery  wins the title of Champion of France.

The team Nouvelle Aquitaine made of Gaël Grondin, Julian Leroux and Etienne Péridy get on the 2nd place on the podium, after having been the Public Favorite “tied” on the 3rd day of the Competition

The regional team Grand East climbs, as for her, on the third step of the podium, after having been the Favorite “tied” by the public on the 3rd day of the Competition

With each edition, the jury agrees that the level is getting higher and higher.

This is the Team Auvergne Rhône Alpes made of Julien Auberger, Grégoire Bardet and Xavier Sacriste who had been designated Public Favorite on the 1st day of the competition and that of France County made of Damien Besson, Nicolas Philippe and Nicolas Vaillant Public Favorite on the 2nd day of the competition.

Members EKIP are very proud to be partners of this competition by providing competitors with the most efficient and innovative equipment to allow everyone to express their know-how in the best conditions. Congratulations to all the teams for their commitment and the beautiful products presented in the final.

Best Traditional Baguette in the City of Paris

The competition for the Best Traditional Baguette in Paris. and whose great winner becomes official supplier of the Elysée for the coming year.

These are not less than 122 chopsticks which were tasted and rated by the jury, chaired by Mrs. Olivia Polski – Deputy for Commerce and Crafts.

Guillaume Gomez, Ambassador of French Gastronomy, was also present on this jury.

Le big winner is Mr. Makram Akrout de  Bakers of Reuilly – Paris 12th.

Le second price goes to the The Place Bakery – Paris 13th

Le troisième price goes to the Lardeux House – Paris 18th.
