CIBM 2022

2024 French Dessert Championship

Under the presidency of Claire Heitzler, the call for applications for the 2024 edition of the French Dessert Championship has been launched.

After an initial selection based on their application, the successful candidates will participate in regional finals (eight rounds spread over January and February 2024). The winners of each round will then participate in the national final on April 3 and 4, 2024, in Argelès-sur-Mer.

The deadline for registration is December 12, 2023.

Worldskills France 2023, the bakery prize list

After a fierce competition, the winners were unveiled on Saturday, September 16, at the closing ceremony at Eurexpo Lyon, in front of nearly 5.000 people. 237 winners representing 69 professions were recognized.

The winners in the Bakery category:

French Pastry Cup

The French Pastry Cup was won by Haruka ATSUJI – chocolate candidate –, Jérémy MASSING – sugar candidate – and Mickaël GUYADER – ice cream candidate –

The goal now is to showcase French pastry at the Coupe Europe de la Pâtisserie, which will take place in January 2024 during Sirha Europain Porte de Versailles in Paris.

MAF Bakery 2023

From September 14 to 16, the MAF Boulangerie 2023 competition was held, co-organized by the National Confederation of French Bakery and Pastry and the National Society of Best Craftsmen of France.
