CIBM 2024

The International Convention of Modern Bakery (CIBM), organized by the magazine Honoré Le Mag, returns for its 7th edition on November 26, 2024 in Paris, with this year again, a truly exceptional line-up of speakers. Enough to place this meeting as a an unmissable event for the entire international bakery business.

National Master of the Best Pain au Chocolat – 2024 edition

The final of the National Master of the Best Pain au Chocolat took place on October 30 at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris.

Organized by the National Confederation of French Bakery and Pastry, this competition rewarded artisan bakers who stood out with their version of this iconic pastry.

The winners of this edition are:

2nd – Sophie JULLIEN (Ile-de-France)

3rd – Yvan STORK (Ile-de-France)

Marjorie MIETTE, MAF Chocolaterie Confectionerie 2024

After intense competition and months of preparation, Marjorie MIETTE was awarded the iconic title " One of the Best Apprentices in France in Chocolate and Confectionery » 2024, a decisive step in his professional career.

This year's theme was "Architecture through Time." Marjorie Miette distinguished herself with creations that blended taste and elegance, while scrupulously respecting the criteria imposed by the jury, composed of professionals. Each candidate was evaluated on the manufacturing, presentation, and tasting of their creations. Technical rigor, dexterity, and ability to innovate were decisive factors in the final decision.
