The “French Baguette” stamp voted the most beautiful stamp of the year

The "French Baguette" stamp was voted the most beautiful stamp of the year at the 34th Stamp Awards Ceremony. The baguette stamp, an olfactory and souvenir stamp, received first prize for the most beautiful stamp of the year, a real success for the industry! Going on sale on May 16, 2024, Saint-Honoré's Day, it is out of stock and has been printed in 596 copies. That's not all! The French baguette also won the title of the most beautiful cancellation of the year. Congratulations to Stéphane Humbert-Basset, artist, for his graphic design.
Dominique Anract, President of the National Confederation of French Bakery and Pastry (CNBPF), and Eric Kayser, artisan baker and pastry chef, were present to present these awards.
These titles highlight two French symbols: the stamp and the baguette, thus highlighting our cultural heritage. As a reminder, the artisanal skills and culture of baguette-making have been listed as UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage since November 30, 2022.
