Despite the postponement of dates due to the health situation, this 24th edition of Sirha Europain has once again proven to be the major event for French Bakery.

More than 25000 visitors were thrilled by the candidates in the major competitions, discovered new products and equipment from more than 300 brands, attended round tables and masterclasses…

The meeting is scheduled for January 2024, from the 21st to the 24th at the Parc es Expositions de Paris Porte de Versailles.

International French Pastry Trophy

From October 28 to November 1, 2021, at the Salon du Chocolat - Paris, the 2nd International Trophy of French Pastry will showcase the pastry creations of professionals or knowledgeable amateurs around the theme of the traditional Yule log.

On October 28 and 29, amateurs over 21 will compete to present their creations.

On October 30th and November 1st, the professionals will be on stage.

A few days ago, Laurent Le Daniel was unanimously elected President of the Confederation.

The Breton pastry chef, MOF committed to his profession, succeeds in this position to Pierre MirgaletWe wish him every success in this new mission.

Best Young International Baker

The competition for Best International Young Baker took place at Sirha .

A high-level team competition in which Germany, Spain, France and Israel competed.

Team Germany : Lisa Sophie SCHULTZ and Sarah Benita ROHR , climb onto the first step of the Podium, followed by Team France which takes Silver – Manon PENNENECH and Luigi TRIGATI – Spain , meanwhile, takes Bronze : with Yamila SIDATI and Daniel FLECHA.

In the individual competition , gold went to Lisa Sophie Schultz (Germany), silver to Moritz Metaler (Germany) and bronze to Yamila Sidati (Spain).

Congratulations to all these young candidates who prove to us that the future of these wonderful professions is in good hands.
