A brief overview of EKIP
EKIP is a long-standing industry stakeholder and wants to promote its members’ know-how and expertise as well as bolstering shared innovation and support for export initiatives.
The organization’s primary remit is to represent industry professionals and champion their interests domestically and across Europe.
EKIP is a think tank and a key discussion forum for its members, meaning that the organization is able to constantly monitor market developments and trends.
EKIP also promotes the trade via a large number of initiatives rolled out in diverse areas, including organizing international trade fairs, creating France Formation Export (FFE) in 1998, and undertaking market research.
Last but not least, EKIP is a large network of relationships based on discussions and meetings with partners from the wheat-flour-catering industry (cereal producers, millers, yeast producers, intermediate foodstuff manufacturers, trade unions and professional unions of equipment users, packaging manufacturers, fitters, distributors, trade unions, research bodies etc).
Trade shows and events
EKIP was the organisation behind the creation of EUROPAIN in 1967 – the world trade fair for bakery, pastry, ice cream, chocolate and confectionary makers.
EKIP is the trade fair’s owner and chose GL Events to take over its management in 2014.
